Because I think we've all been a little dis-attached and it would be nice to see how things are, what's changed and sort of what's happened.

So, I'm a Canadian engaged to an American. We are going through the Visa Process that will allow me to move to the USofA, SoCal (South California), permanently. I have gotten a Diploma in Web Design which originally took me away from being an Admin here. I got a job as a part-time Junior Web Designer at a local "international" internet advertising company. (www.iias.com) Because the summer months left me with little work there I also got a part-time Barista job to just fill in the hours while I wait out the Paper work.

I haven't written a great deal since. I have tried NaNo this year and barely reached 14k. I was travelling during that month and met my future In-Law family which didn't really help. Wooo.. I've done a little drawing but not much.

I have worked hard as the Mistress of Novices on A'vron Ayende (avronayende.net) and have taken on the role of their Tech Admin. It keeps me busy, but I'm looking to step away a little to be selfish and post here more.

I have also gone through the Raising process on Tar Valon.net Inc (tarvalon.net) and am an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah there. They do a lot of community RL events and I think that is a great perk to the site. That and my fiance is a member (James Davion of the SDS Company). He is bonded to a Blue, but I have Stan so I figure neither of us can complain. We have a healthy relationship and it all works very well.

My wedding to JD (Greg) is June 18th 2010. And it's an open invite to join the reception which is a 3-day cruise to Mexico. (Group rates! It's not that pricy if you don't fly that far).

Oh, and Estel totally got me addicted to the TV show "Grey's Anatomy" which has led to my newest addiction (as of yesterday) of "Private Practice". Horrible horrible daughter...

I'm Alyssa, damn proud to be a Canuck (and kinda upset that I'll be out of the country while we're hosting the Winter Olympics). I'm a 20 year-old (it still freaks me out that people who don't know me consider me an "adult") music student, majoring in voice. In 4 days I'll be taking off for an exchange semester in Australia (with visits to Fiji and New Zealand) and will be mostly offline 'til I get to Tasmania (not to be confused with Tanzania) mid-February.

I have an on-again-off-again relationship with Dragonmount.com and generally lurk around A'vron Ayende. In about a month I will have been RPing for 5 years and have some two dozen characters spread across three sites. Also, Andrea is my moummy.

Considering music is my major, it is my life and I live and breathe both opera and country music (throw in some rock, choral, reggae, with a smattering of R&B). I am also addicted to caffiene and TV; my coffe is black and I follow Grey's Anatomy, Bones, NCIS, Glee, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Castle religiously (plus another dozen shows less religiously).

Well seeing as how I lurk around here often, I suppose I should come out of the shadow.

I'm Ben (or Benny or Benedict- pick one). I'm from the Midwest of the (sometimes) great United States but now I live in New York City. I'm a 19-year-old dance major at NYU. Dance was and is my first passion and is most of my life. I've been dancing for almost 10 years and I hope to join a professional dance company once I've graduated and see the world on tour. (We'll see where that goes though!) Besides dance, I spend my time nerding out with the Wheel of Time (duh), Jacqueline Carey's Terre d'Ange novels, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. What else? I'm here. I'm queer. Get used to it.

I've been here for about 2 years with various characters. Before that I RPed around god-knows-where but the Verge is my one true RP home. In the past I had about 12 characters but that was waaay to many so I'm gonna restart with an Aes Sedai as an Accepted and we'll see how that goes. I like big story arcs and collaborating on big events, but I'm not very good at it, so I want to get better.

I'm a stay at home mom with a part time web design freelancing gig going on. My daughters are currently 4 and 2 (2 will be 3 in March).

I no longer have an online home to write, don't really lurk anywhere either so maybe this will push the inspiration I need to write.

And this time it will be greetings from other side of the pond. I'm Andy, living in Poland (aged... 30... meh, makes me ancient here ;D). I work as online journalist (chief of hi-tech/economy departments in one of biggest Polish online news sites), so there might be times I'll need a week or so off from writing, as the work will eat my enthusiasm of RPing My adventures with RPing in WoT world started at old Dragonmount, with Kair and Arie, and so it continues (even tho I avoid DM , but walked all the path Kair and Arie had - Shining Walls, Kinslayers Dagger and so on)

Music? Old rock - the Who and Marillion notably, along with Cave, classical music, country, shanties and Irish folk. As far as TV Series are concerned then it's Dexter (but not cartoon), Mentalist, Flashback and Nurse Jackie. I'm also a great fan of Star Wars, Sword of Truth and Lord of Rings worlds, along with everything written by Dawid Weber, John Ringo or Eric Flynt. Also I'm consuming all the biographies of famous military officers and books about ancient Rome, medieval Europe and Age of Sails or Napoleon Wars - tho I'm on the British side there (actually reading "Frigates of Napoleonic Wars" and loving that book"

What else? Uh... I draw. I study (sometimes... XD). I write. And that's pretty much all there is to be said! XD My main centre of creativity is my deviantART account, ariadnearca.deviantart.com, although of course I RP here and I've been known to dabble in fanfiction. D8

This year's been pretty crazy, doing my final high school exams, working, starting uni, etcetera. Hopefully I'll be able to settle down and get into the swing of things properly now. 8| ^^;

I love Star Wars, Firefly, Dollhouse, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Garth Nix's Sabriel series, anything Pratchett with Commander Vimes in it, and lots more. But most of all at the moment, I love Dragon Age (a recent addiction). Ahhh, Bioware, you make such awesome RPGs. 8'D

Hello all, they call me Arani, and I can't give out my name because I'm probably the youngest person to be rping so frequently in DM and some other forums. I live in Singapore (which is on the opposite side of everyone here ) and am deciding to try again here (don't worry, with other characters besides the notorious five). I hope that I fit in here better than I did last time now I'm a bit more mature and sensitive.

I'm a student, and I am sometimes going to be away on leave for studying, so don't be too worried if I don't get back within 24 hours. It just probably means that I'm unable to use the internet due to an RL situation or something.

I love reading David Eddings, J.R.R Tolkien, and other good fantasy books. I am also an avid RPer, although unfortunately most of the sites that I joined have since become inactive due to loss of prominent members.

Hope that we can get along better!
